After noticing a lot of activity in the middle of the day on a brief
lunchtime birding session, Debbie and I went back to the museum from
5:30-6:30 this evening. The birds were mostly quiet, but very actively
feeding.
Birds seen today included the following Warblers: N. Parula, Yellow
Rumped, Black and White, Blackpoll, Black-throated Blue, Common
Yellowthroat, Prairie, American Redstart and Kentucky (heard only).
Other birds seen included a magnificent Scarlet Tananger, Veery, Eastern
Kingbird, Red-eyed Vireo, Spotted Sandpiper, and Yellow crowned Night
Heron.
