[va-bird] A quacking good tour!

Hi there VAbirders,
My daughter just came downstairs and said,
"There's a duck in the yard."
It took a few moments for it to register, but then I went hauling to the
window.......
sure enough, there was a female Mallard waddling all around the back yard!!
She seemed to be exploring the place, maybe for a pond?
After a little bit, off she flew......
We've had Mallards fly by before, but never had one take a tour of our
backyard!!!!!
Fun!!!!
Maybe I should get a kiddie pool for her? ;-)
