VA Birders,
I checked the area around Harrison Road today for Bobolinks and found
one male on a telephone wire along Harrison Road (Rt. 750). He
disappeared into the field on the north side of the road and east of the
lake so I'm sure there are more there. At the lake was 1 Solitary
Sandpiper, 4 Spotted Sandpipers, and 1 Ring-necked Duck.
To reach this area exit I-66 at The Plains and go south. Harrison Road
will be about 1 mile down on your right.
