I took Karen Nyere's advice and went to Monticello Park last night after work
(4:45 - 5:30pm), and had a pretty good time. It was leaps and bounds above the
last time I went a week and a half ago where all I saw was a White Throated
Sparrow, but sort of slow compared to a typical mid-day.

I had:

Black Throated Blue *
Black & White *
Ovenbird 2
Yellow Rumps
Hermit Thrush
Veery

* = first of the year for me. Sad I know, but I don't get out as often as I'd
like.

During the time I was there, someone also had a LA Waterthrush.

Not the greatest report for Monticello, but it was 5pm, and I don't usually see
4 species of warbler on my way home from work!

I'll definitely be making more stops on the way home from work. You should too!
