All,

Red-bellied Woodpecker excavating a cavity at Monticello Park earlier  
today. Construction has been underway for a couple of days now. Note  
the woodchips in bill in two of these digiscopes. Looks like pretty  
hard work to me. Crows and Blue Jays have been getting in the way,  
but these birds seem determined to carry on.

Digiscopes obtained with 21X & 32X fixed, wide-angle eyepieces and a  
Nikon 4300 camera.
