This morning at about 0010 hrs I heard an EASTERN SCREECH-OWL tremoloing
down our road (McFarland Lane). This is the first EASO I have heard here in
3+ years.
Later, at 0700 hrs, we had our first OVENBIRD singing, as well as EASTERN
MEADOWLARKS returned to the hay field, a HERMIT THRUSH singing, and what
sounded like a Winter Wren singing far off.
