[va-bird] Retraction: NOT a Swainson's (at Burke Lake 31 March)

Hello everyone,
This is a retraction - I reported an unusual sighting yesterday at Burke
Lake, but I was wrong. I have to "eat crow" here, for lack of a better
term.
Regarding the suspected Swainson's Thrush at Burke Lake, I checked 3
field guides this evening, and I realize now that I saw some Swainson's
marks, and some Hermit marks. I wrote to Sue Heath at GMU, reporting
everything I saw, and she wrote back and said the most compelling of my
observations was the red tail contrasting with the gray back and wings,
which makes it a Hermit Thrush.
My mistake. Good birding!!
