[va-bird] r.t..hummer and whip March 31 Chase City, VA

R. T. Humming bird appeared around 2:00 pm on March 31 and the whip-poor-will
sang about 8 pm. Happy Spring.
Other birds - April 1
pair of green-winged teals-- March 31, too
merganser - probably female hooded because of its size has been on our pond
for five days or more
other spring birds include blue-gray gnatcatcher. Bluebirds and chickadees
nest building.
