[va-bird] Peregrine Falcons at Woodrow Wilson Bridge, Alexandria

VA-Birders,
A pair of Peregrine Falcons has been in the vicinity of the Woodrow
Wilson Bridge for some time. They are now nesting in an opening under
the deck on the north side of the bridge and have laid three eggs in
a scrape they have made there. Photos I have taken can be seen at
http://www.pbase.com/paulasullivan/peregrine_falcons Clicking on the
first thumbnail in the gallery will open a sub-gallery of shots
showing today's repositioning of the crane from the north to the
south side of the bridge. The falcons have been using that crane, as
well as a narrow ledge on the bridge, as a perch on which to eat meals.
