for the past few days i have seen what is either a lousiana waterthrush or a
northern thrush- it is along the bank of a smallpond near the potomac river -
by the yellowish tint on its underside and by the way it flips its tail
around(it flits aorund and reminds one of a sandpiper the way it moves), i had
decided it is a northern - but there have been no sightings of northerns on
this
list, only louisianas - this is just to end a conversation with my husband who
is convinced it is a northern - they look so similar in sibley - christie
