[va-bird] First report from White Oaks Park, Fairfax County

I?ve begun my morning walks in my patch, White Oaks Park, a postage stamp
natural park between Dyke Marsh and Huntley. Highlight so far was my first
THRASHER on Monday (seems that everyone else had them about the same time).
This morning I heard my first HERMIT THRUSH song ? very quiet, a ?whisper
song? I guess. Monday and today I had COOPER?S HAWKS giving their breeding
season woodpecker-like vocalization; this morning an immature Coop was
harassing a BARRED OWL (which is apparently nesting in the same tree as the
last two years). CREEPERS, WINTER WRENS, and PHOEBES have been moving
through consistently for the last week. Only warbler has been a single
YELLOW-RUMP flying over while chipping this morning. Three flyover LOONS on
Monday.
