[va-bird] Loggerhead Shrike, Bedford County, April 2

The Lynchburg Bird Club field trip to Claytor Nature Study Center (CNSC) was 
cancelled due to the inclement weather on Saturday, April 2nd.  By 
mid-afternoon Peggy Lyons and I decided to do some birding in the Claytor area 
anyway.  Unfortunately we did not find many of the early spring migrants that 
others across the state did after the heavy rain passed.  The only migrants we 
found were Tree and Northern Rough-winged Swallows.  A single Loggerhead Shrike 
was also located.  The species seen are listed below (* indicates found at 
CNSC).
