[va-bird] Northern Gannets continue

Northern Gannets continue here on the Nansemond River, with sightings daily
including this AM. The numbers seem to have dropped but I haven't been
scoping the river beyond confirming that the gannets are still there.

The gannets are not easily seen by simply driving over the Nansemond River
Bridge (Rt. 17 or Bridge Road) as they can be some distance away from the
bridge. Tidewater Community College (Suffolk Campus) should be a good spot
to scan for gannets - TCC sits on Pig Point where the Nansemond flows into
the James River. I haven't driven down there but I can't imagine that you
WOULDN'T see gannets from there as long as they are present.

Good Birding!
