[va-bird] Amherst lakes

Hello All,
  I went to the lakes in Amherst Co. this afternoon
at 4:00. At Mill Creek Lake I saw:
 Common Loons- 6 in breeding plumage
  Osprey- 1
  Bonaparte's Gull- 4 (2 getting their black heads
           and 2 still in winter plumage)
  Spotted Sanpiper- 1 
  D C Cormorants- 27
  Tree Swallows- many
  Purple Martins- many
 
 At Thrashers Lake there were 2 Common Loons 
in breeding plumage.
