[va-bird] cormorants

Is it my imagination, or are there a lot more cormorants around this spring
then in the past? I cross the Memorial Bridge twice a day, and each time there
are flocks of cormorants flying over the bridge and sitting on the rocks near
Roosevelt Island. I have never seen this many before in this area.
