All,
From Bay Creek, on the south side of Cape Charles, Northampton County,
Eastern Shore:
I have none of Ned Brinkley?s ventriloquial birds here on the south side of
the railroad tracks, but I do want to report that a red-necked grebe can
still be found in the lake on the 8th fairway (here at least since late
February), ~2000 black-bellied plovers are in the back fields (with water
standing everywhere) and I saw my first barn swallows and spotted sandpipers
of the spring, late though it may be.
