[va-bird] Red crossbills in Rockingham Co.

On Saturday afternoon, I spent an hour and a half at the advertised spot
on the road to Reddish Knob. The birds appeared twice, chattering and
chasing back and forth between the pines on the north side of the road
and the deciduous trees on the south side. They were clearly visible for
several minutes at a time but then gone (?) for about an hour. Patience
paid off.
My odometer registered exactly 4.5 miles beyond Tilghman Road.
