Hello everyone,
6 members of the Lynchburg Bird Club went on a field trip to James River
State Park this morning. We saw 50 species of birds. The highlights were
Vesper Sparrow, Swamp Sparrow( with good looks by everyone) and a Red
Eyed Vireo( which was heard by everyone but couldn't be found). This is an
early date. We also got good looks at Tree Swallows. It turned out to be a good
date after a mornong rain shower.
