[va-bird] College Creek Hawkwatch

The College Creek Hawkwatch, on the James, near Williamsburg, sponsored by
Coastal VA Wildlife Observatory, is quite a bit above normal for this point
in the season, at almost 750 birds. Last year's season total was 1024. After
the great stretch of March 22-25, which followed a long period of inclement
weather, things have been slow, but steady. No Broad-wingeds yet. Kite season
is here, though.
Today, April 5th, a hummingbird, the first I've seen this year, streaked past
the hawkwatch.
