Good evening birders--
The Red-Necked Grebe was still there between 5 and 6 this evening. I watched
it for a long time--he sat perfectly still in the water, moving only his
head. Different behavior from the ones in Manassas.
Also seen:
Canada Geese
Mallards
Northern Flickers
Northern Mockingbird
Blue Jays
Red-Winged Blackbirds
American Robins
Eastern Towhees
Northern Cardinal
Song Sparrows
Juncos
And one rabbit!
