In a hurry, but just wanted to drop a quick note that 3 yellow-crowned night
herons were reported to be present in the early morning hours (about 6:30am)
at the start of the boardwalk at Huntley Meadows.
The herons were missed by the bulk of Monday Morning Birdwalk, but we did
quite well, totaling about 55 species for the day. Beautiful morning - dust
off your bins and get out there.
