[va-bird] Visit to Dutch Gap Conservation Area 3/9/2007

Hi,
I visited Dutch Gap from 9:20 AM to approximately 3:30 PM today (Friday
3/09/07) taking photos. I did not do individual counts but did see the
following birds.
Canada Geese
Northern Shoveler
American Wigeon
Gadwall
Mallard
Blue-Winged Teal
Ring-Necked Duck
1 Female Bufflehead (mixed in with Ring-Necked Ducks near first viewing
platform.)
American Coot
Wood Ducks
1 Immature Bald Eagle
Turkey Vulture
Black Vulture
2 Osprey (1 with a stick and one with a fish)
4 Great Blue Heron
1 unidentified Hawk
1 Kingfisher
Red-Winged Blackbirds
Song Sparrows
Male and female Cardinals
Les Brooks
