Since the last post on March 13th about the College Creek Hawkwatch, on the
James River near Williamsburg, the warm weather disappeared and chilly
northerly winds have prevailed. But birds were still moving with totals for
March
16-19 at 15, 64, 25 and 40. We're still looking for our first American
Kestrel, which came last year on March 29th.
The season total is a respectable 540.
