Thank you for the feedback.... Red-Shouldered is overwhelming the most
suggested.
Thanks again!

Subject: [va-bird] ID help - Burke Lake Raptor?
Hello, I'm new to this list, primarily a nature photographer with a new-found
interest in birds.
I spooked this one while walking down a wooded path at Burke Lake last Saturday
(March 4) and thought it was a Red-tail hawk due to it's size. When I got home
and looked at the photos it appeared to be something else, maybe a falcon?
It's not a great picture, but maybe good enough for someone to identify?

Thanks,
