[va-bird] Great Horned Owls, Reston

This is a sort of late post, but at around 11:30 last night I was up reading 
when I heard two Great Horned Owls calling to each other from either side of 
our neighborhood in southern Reston.  We went outside to hear them better--they 
were so beautiful.  What a lovely, special sound! Lasted about 10 minutes 
tops. Oh please, don't spoil it for me saying the second owl was probably a 
darned tape recording! :-)
