[va-bird] CBBT closure

I took up Ned's suggestion of calling the CBBT administration office to
confirm that the faxes that I'd sent last night had arrived. According to the
Public Relations person, as of 11 AM, they have received hundreds of faxes on
the subject.
I also faxed a letter to Governor Warner, and have tried to send one to
Senator Warner. However, Senator Warner's Washington office fax seems to be
permanently busy. Don't know if that's the birders, the people faxing about
Social Security, or well wishers - he is due to have rotator cuff surgery and
may
not be in a position to respond anyway.
