BlankRex Springston is the person at the Richmond Times Dispatch that writes
about enviornmental issues and also enjoys birding. A couple of years ago
when the park rangers were trapping black vultures at Dutch Gap and shooting
them. They killed over 400. Rex did a front page story with photographs and
the killing stopped and other arrangements were made.
