[va-bird] birding to stop on CBBT 3/31/05

I just received a call from the CCBT public relations dept. I had applied
yesterday for my permit. The person informed me that due to security reasons
all birding permits will end at the end of March. No permits and no birding
will be permited after March 31. A letter about the above will me mailed to
everyone on their lists.
Seems to me, if a terrorist wanted to damage the CBBT he wouldn't stand around
with binoculars in hand. One thing we lost on Sept 11. was a bit of common
sense. How can we get this rule changed?
