[va-bird] Brewer's

Hello everyone, I'm just getting into birding thanks to a good friend of mine
but at my feeder Thursday I do believe I saw 8-9 Red Winged Blackbirds (5-6
male and 3-4 female) and 1-2 Brewer's Blackbirds. I got a very good look at
one of the ones I believe to be a Brewer's. I was only 3-4 feet from it thanks
to my feeder being so close to my porch door.
The Brewer's was very glossy and iridescent with a purplish head and greenish
body. It was only very slightly larger than the Red Wings. Do you all have
any tips on telling would be Brewer's from Rustys? Thanks and good birding to
