VA Birders:
I'll add to the Phoebe reports to note my first Phoebe of the year this
morning at Ft. Smith Park in Arlington. Unfortunately I saw the bird at 8:50
and
the rest of my group didn't arrive until 9:00 and missed it. We could not
refind. Also seen about the same time 80 Tundra Swans flying north. They were
flying fairly low due to cloud cover. When they crossed the river and saw the
city they made two big circles over my head while the leaders decided what to
do. Ultimately they followed the Potomac north.
