I was happy to hear of the MD Phoebe sighting, as I'm anxiously awaiting
the arrival of "my" neighborhood Phoebes in Springfield, VA. They've
tended to arrive the first or second week of March since I've been
keeping track of neighborhood birds. I *did* hear spring peepers during
a trip to South Run Rec Center this week. Not a bird-related event, but
a harbinger of spring to my mind.
