Two Short-eared Owls were seen this evening(03/02) between 6:20 and 6:30 PM
hunting over the fields behind the Berry Farm on Rt. 615 just north of the town
of Rapidan in Culpeper Co. A vigil at the Horseshoe Farms off Rt. 614 west of
Rapidan from 5:45-6:15 yielded no Short-eared Owls although 2 N.Harrier were
seen there as were 2500-3000 Canada Geese.
