[va-bird] Common Goldeneye on Lake Moomaw

Sorry for the late posting, but I did not have access to a computer over
the weekend....

(7) Common Goldeneyes (only one drake) were observed at Lake Moomaw on
Friday, 2/27/04. They seemed to be hanging out near the northeast end of
the lake just before where Rt. 603 crosses the end of the lake.

This portion of Lake Moomaw is located in Bath County. One way to get
there is by taking Rt. 39 (northwest) from Warm Springs. Go left on Rt.
600 (follow the signs) until it reaches Rt. 603.

Rt. 603 (left turn) leads to the Goldeneyes.

Other common waterfowl were also on the lake.
