I just love the way that looks in the subject line.
Robert Hilton just phoned me letting me know that the Red-necked Grebes
behind the Comfort Suites Inn in Manassas, Prince William County are still
there. This is on Williamson Blvd, east of Sudley Road, about a half-mile or
so from the intersection of Sudley (234) and I-66. Robert also had two
Red-necked Grebes from Reservoir Road at Beaverdam Reservoir in Loudoun.
In Fauquier he reports two Greater-white Fronted Geese on the pond on Belvoir
Road (Route 709) near the intersection of US 17 and I-66. This road I think
appears on some maps as Zulla Road, but is indeed Belvoir. The adult Lesser
Black-backed Gull along with three merganser species was at Lake Brittle in
Fauquier.
Cheers,
Todd
