[va-bird] Eurasian Wigeon at Craney Island/creeper question

I visited Craney Island yesterday morning from 720 to 1030. I suppose the
most unusual bird seen was a male Eurasian Wigeon. It was first reported a
few days before in the bird sighting log at Craney Island. This bird has
been seen at the bayside of the northwest corner of Craney. He can be
difficult to see, so I recommend climbing the slope to the upper level road.

Has anyone seen the Eurasian Wigeon in Virginia Beach recently? Could it be
the same bird?

I live about a mile west of the Virginia Beach Blvd./Military Hwy.
intersection, and I have seen 1-2 Brown Creepers several times around my
neighborhood.

I was wondering if anyone else has been seeing any Brown Creepers in the
Tidewater area. In my experience, they are hard birds to find.

Also, at Craney Island, about 8 to 10 flocks of Tundra Swans flew over. I
only heard most of the swan flocks, but the 3 or 4 flocks I saw had about 80
to 100 birds per flock. They were headed north. Bufflehead males were
head-bobbing and pursuing Bufflehead females. I think these are signs that
migration is here. I had excellent views of Red-throated Loons and Horned
Grebes. About 2000 Ruddy Ducks were in the bay on the west side. Scaup,
Canvasback, Black Duck, Gadwall, a American Pipit, and a female Common
Goldeneye were present at Craney, along with other birds.
