Some folks from Roanoke asked me this week whether the
Eurasian Wigeon is still at Christioher Farms in Va
Beach. I was unable to get out there until today
(sorry), but yes, he was still in the neighborhood. He
was not in the same pond where I saw him the first
time; there are two roads off of Holland Dr. into
Christopher Farms, and each has its own body of water.
If you don't see "Yuri" in one pond, check the other.
I've attached a very crude map that might help
out-of-towners to find the area. It's definitely not
to scale---Christopher Farms is several miles away
from I-264. But this should give you the general lay
of the land.
