Well, raindrops were falling on our heads, but that didn't mean our eyes
would not be seeing red...Red-breasted Mergansers that is...
13 Walkers, undaunted by ominous gray clouds, gathered at Belle Haven picnic
area Sun. Morning at 8am to ambulate about Dyke Marsh (Alexandria), espying
abundant avifauna, appeasing our appetence for the aerial acrobatics and
aural accouterments of our winged friends. 8 of us appreciated the light, on
and off rain all the way to the end of the boardwalk...here's the list.
(Still no Osprey!!!)
