[va-bird] Mockingbird question

Fellow birders..
Is it at all possible for a Mockingbird to be sitting on eggs at this time
of year? For nearly two weeks a pair of Mockers did their mating ritual
right outside my office window every day - all day.. I had fun watching
them. Now, the female is sitting in an old BlueJay nest in the tree near the
window and the male spends his days on a branch next to the nest. He swoops
down and steals the food that I put out for a feral cat, both canned and dry
and flies up to the nest. I presume he is feeding the female. Is this
possible??
Have they both gone round the bend? The mating ritual started during the
warm days that we had. She's been sitting in the Jay nest for about 2 weeks.
Thanks!
