[va-bird] waterfowl/ Potomac River/ Riverside park

If you like ducks, there is still lots of fun to be had at Riverside park off 
the GW Parkway, just north of Mt. Vernon...
Two van loads of birders on Arlington Co vans showed up for the show today as 
well...here's what we saw...

RING NECKED DUCK, AM. WIGEON, GADWALL, LESSER SCAUP, CANVASBACK, COMMON MERGS 
& HOODED MERGS,  COOT,  BUFFLEHEAD, RUDDY DUCK, REDHEAD, MALLARD, & 7 TUNDRA 
SWANS. There were at least 3 adult BALD EAGLES and 1 imm. - 1 KINGFISHER, a 
few GREAT BLUES, 1 WINTER WREN, GREAT BLACK BACK AND RING-BILLED gulls.
