All,

Find an Eastern Screech Owl exercise and other online resources in
the Journal article posted at my web site, http://homepage.mac.com/
pmkane/My_Web_Site/birdingjournal/screechowl.html.

Find a link to the exercise's answer key on this same page. If
interested, be sure to click into the link to the Screech Owl nest
box cam. This is not a Virginia web site, but interesting all the same.

This time of year, Prince William Forest Park is a great place to
look and listen for Eastern Screech Owls, including along the park's
Scenic Drive. While the park closes at dark, visitors are usually
allowed to be in the park for about an hour after dusk.

In PWFP, I have heard/seen Eastern Screech Owls at Parking Lot A,
Parking Lot D, and the Mawavi Road parking lot along the park's
Scenic Drive.
