[va-bird] Feederwatch visitor

We didn't have many birds for our Feederwatch weekend this last weekend.
Maybe the visitor to our backyard had something to do with the low turnout:

I also had the opportunity to take some pictures of raptors at the
Meadowlark Photo Expo over the weekend. The Raptor Conservancy of
Virginia (based in Falls Church) lets photographers take pictures of
some of their birds that have injuries that prevent them from being
released. We pay them a reasonable fee, so they raise some money to
help support their rehabilitation efforts.

For those of you who don't know what the Meadowlark Photo Expo is:

This years event is over - but be on the lookout for next years event
around the same time.

I think this post is probably not exactly on-topic - but I really
enjoyed seeing the birds and thought I'd share the experience through
some of my pictures.
