FreeLists / va-bird / [va-bird] ANOTHER ROSSLYN RED-TAILED

Today at about 11:55, while eating lunch at my desk, my co-worker told me 
that I should slowly turn and look out the window.  Only five feet away sat 
what I believe is an older Red-tailed Hawk on the railing of our balcony.   
This bird has different markings - less of a white patch on the upper breast 
and a darker band than the previous Red-tailed I saw in a nearby tree last 
week and posted.  Also note its left foot appears to be missing the talons.

This was a real treat for us....
