Ed Eder lead the Friends of Dyke Marsh Field Trip Sunday, 4 Feb, and his
report follows.  As always, this field trip is free to all comers and starts
at 0800 each Sunday morning from the first parking lot of the Dyke Marsh
picnic area.

Six warmly garbed birders participated in a rather frigid Sunday  

morning tally.  Forty Five species were counted with the highlight of  

closeups of nine Hooded Mergansers.
