The lesser black-backed gull is still following the Scotland-Jamestown ferry as
of Feb 3. It arrives like clockwork about one-third of teh way across, follows
the
ferry for awhile, and then departs before it gets to the other side. The bird
is
now a full adult, having molted some brown wing feathers it still retained in
the
Fall and gained some brown in the head. Several Bonaparte's gulls were among
teh flock following teh ferry as well.

I was interested to hear about the Nashville warbler in Va. Beach. I had one
on
almost this date (Feb. 5) at my Williamsburg feeder 5 years ago.
