VA Birders,
The 7 Northern Virginia Bird Club members who went on NVBC walk this
morning at Fort C. F. Smith Park in Arlington had a very pleasant walk, even
tho
it was a bit chilly. Highlights included YELLOW-BELLIED SAPSUCKER, PILEATED
WOODPECKER, and GOLDEN-CROWNED KINGLET (1 of each). After the group left, a
pair of adult BALD EAGLES flew over the meadow at the park.
Good birding,
Val Kitchens
