[va-bird] PACIFIC LOON- Kerr Reservoir

Hi All,
Just got a call from Adam D'Onofrio who is at Kerr Reservoir and just found a
PACIFIC LOON at the Palmer Point Recreation Area there. The bird was found in
the cove to the left of the boat ramp. Adam had the bird in sight from about
9:15 to 9:30 then lost it in the fog and rain. Jeff Blalock and the Lynchburg
Bird Club are on their way down there for a scheduled field trip so hopefully
the group will relocate the bird shortly. Palmer Point Rec Area can be reached
by taking Rt 4 across the dam and continuing south for a couple of miles and
the turning on Palmer Point Rd and following it to the entrance to the rec area.
