[va-bird] Meadowlarks in Franklin County

For the first time in months I found a flock of Meadowlarks (about a dozen)
here on the abbey farm. This is the first time in several years that they have
disappeared from here for so long, it was rather worrying.
There continue to be plenty of sparrows here though. 5 Towhees, at least 30
Song Sparrows, several dozen White-throated Sparrows and over a hundred Juncos
were around the feeders and hedgerows while it was snowing this morning. A
couple of Purple Finches, some House Finches and Goldfinches and 18 Cardinals
also spent the morning at the feeders.
