[va-bird] common ravens, prince william county

VA Birders,

I was surprised to see four Common Ravens feasting on a deer carcass
along Riley Road just north of Broad Run Church Road in western Prince
William County about 12:45 this afternoon. I have seen single ravens
several times near this area but never four at one time. It was a
delight to watch their social behavior around the carcass while at least
10 vultures roosted overhead in a deciduous tree.

Happy birding everyone!

Sue
