[va-bird] Missing/delayed posts

Hola,
Over the weekend a friend mentioned that he didn't get an email that I was
referring to from the VA-Birds list, and suggested that he misses one in every
three notes posted to the list. I just now checked the archives for February,
and of the 91 notes posted, I didn't get 12 of them.
My guess is that this is a Freelists/AOL problem, unless non-AOL users are
having the same problems. Last week Paul Mocko mentioned that he was getting
delayed posts, and that too is happening here as well. While the problem may
be
entirely with AOL, I can say that the Maryland list (MDOsprey), which is on a
different server, delivers all the posted messages to my mailbox.
I've talked to other AOL users, and they too are not getting all the
postings. Is this happening with other ISPs? There's no common theme to the
messages
that I'm not getting (e.g., not all being sent from the same server, et
cetera).
If anyone is curious as to whether they're missing posts, I've included the
link below to February's notes. Any comments are welcome, but try to do it off
the list.
Cheers,
Todd
