Greetings,
To add to Glenn's note, I was at Montressor Road with my wife and father from
about one-thirty until around three-thirty today, and had about the same
amount of Rough-leggeds, Harriers, and Red-taileds, but also had a pair of
Kestrels that we watched copulate, and saw one catch and kill a mouse.
Also present were Tree Sparrows, a few flocks of overhead pipits, a
Red-shouldered Hawk, meadowlarks, several Ring-billed Gulls flying northeast,
and some
other stuff.
Over on the east of US 15, along Hibler Road, we came across about a hundred
White-crowned Sparrows, and scores of Cardinals. Here were also White-throats
and Song Sparrows. Along Limestone School Road there were forty pipits on a
frozen wet field, some right on the road edge.
Cheers,
Todd
